Greetings from the beautiful island of Kauai!
We arrived last evening-a great flight out of LA direct to the island. Since it was dark by the time we picked up our rental car and arrived at the Hilton, we couldnt take pleasure in the beauty of the surroundings. However, this morning as we rose to the sound of the 'roosters' crowing, we ooo-ed and aaa-ed over the lush greenery, the ocean waves crashing in on the beach, and just the cool breeze and ...let not us forget, the tropical humidity! lol
The accomodations are great, Cary, here at the Hilton....the room is very nice, very comfortable (beds really comfy!) and the view is gorgeous!! We just returned from the continental breakfast..it was 'perfect' and everything so fresh. The hostesses were very friendly (Yvonne and Susane) making for a wonderful start to a wonderful day--this IS Conrad's 60th today, so he got his start out well with plenty of fresh pineapple and the Aloha girls at his side ---HA,--Now, we are Off to a walk on the beach, and golf a little later. Conrad is checking w/guest services right now. Since it is overcast--rained for couple hrs early morning--we will 'stort-off' our golf experience at the municipal links just up the road...saving the 'Princeville links for a sunnier day, probably later in week.

Just a few photos of us from the recent trip. Thought you'd enjoy us, enjoying our stay at the Hilton and at the 'golf' courses. We took a ton of photos, but you already know the beauty of the island. You were right, NO course in Hawaii was a bad course to golf. The public course just next to the Hilton was a great place, and so inexpensive!! We went to several others, however did not get to play at Princeville, though we did drive up there (Oooooo my!)..that day we had rain on-off, so opted out of playing.

Hi Cary, Ray and I really enjoyed our trip to Kauai and your room/hotel property was just lovely! You would be happy with the renovations, very appealing furniture, decor and the beds are very comfortable. The service was excellent and the grounds were beautiful.
